Our Position

We will never ask you to do these things.

Letterbox Capital and anyone acting on our behalf will not:

Request secrecy - We will not ask you to keep an investment opportunity confidential from your advisors, attorney, or family.
Pressure you to act immediately - Legitimate private offerings have process and documentation. High-pressure “act now or lose your spot” tactics are a red flag.
Send wire or payment instructions by phone or email - Be highly suspicious of anyone who sends wiring instructions via phone, email, text, or chat. Official wire instructions are distributed only through the portal on our investor relations platform, after you are an accepted investor in the formal process.
Ask you to send funds to a personal account - Capital calls and subscriptions go only to designated fund or escrow accounts shown in the investor portal and offering materials - never to an individual’s personal bank account.
Request unusual payment methods - We do not ask for gift cards, cryptocurrency to personal wallets, wires to individuals, or cash.
Contact you from unofficial domains - Official communication uses letterboxcapital.com (or other channels we have confirmed with you in writing).

Red Flags

Too good to be true usually is.

Guaranteed or unusually high returns with little or no risk
Unsolicited contact (cold calls, DMs, texts) claiming to represent Letterbox Capital or a “partner fund”
Requests to move money quickly outside the subscription process described in the offering documents
Documents that look official but come from free email accounts (e.g. gmail, yahoo) or mismatched domains
Anyone claiming to be a regulator, auditor, or bank officer asking you to “verify” funds by transferring them

Use official channels only.

Confirm you are on letterboxcapital.com. Official email will come from addresses at that domain (e.g. jake@letterboxcapital.com). When in doubt, navigate to the site yourself rather than clicking a link in a message.

Call the number published on this website: 864-404-1945. Do not use a number provided only in an unsolicited message.

Offering materials

Subscription documents appear through the formal process after accreditation review. Wire and payment instructions appear in the investor relations portal - not as standalone emails or phone messages. Compare any request against the portal and official materials.

Your advisors

Share materials with your attorney, CPA, or advisor. We expect sophisticated investors to do diligence - including on us.

Wire Instructions

Only through the investor portal.

Wiring instructions for subscriptions and capital calls are provided exclusively through our investor relations platform portal. They are not sent as the primary channel by unsolicited email or phone.

Be highly suspicious of anyone - including someone claiming to be from Letterbox Capital, a bank, or a “partner” - who emails, texts, or calls you with wire instructions, account numbers, or urgent requests to transfer funds.
Always log into the official investor portal (access is provided only after you complete the formal onboarding process) and confirm any funding instructions there.
If you receive wiring details outside the portal, do not send funds. Contact us at the phone number and email published on this website to verify.
Fraudsters often spoof domains and letterhead. A professional-looking PDF or email is not proof of authenticity.
We will never ask you to “test” a wire, reverse a payment to prove identity, or move money to “unlock” an investment.
